Whatever it is, I don't think it's "Coming to America" anytime soon....

Love it - but it's a two-stroke (one reason to love it!), so it's not going to happen...JJ - Cars Suck said:Would this please anyone...
.... and under 10K otd?
398lbs wet, 150hp = Hell Yeah!
PS: Fake stats! Just dreaming. :'(
Yes I've been watching those developments, and some people have tried adapting snowmobile engines to bikes (the Tularis race bike is one) but never seen a very successful adaptation. Something to do with engine packaging, powerband, and lack of a conventional gearbox? Would like to see one of the manufacturers have a good go. Why not Polaris? They already have a company producing throwbacks (Victory), why not a produce engines of the future based on light, powerful, clean two-strokes. Now that would be a "Victory"!Wolf said:Two-strokes are alive and well in both the snowmobile and outboard boat engine segments. I have an order for a 2014 Skidoo with a direct-injected two cylinder, two-stroke 800cc, 160+hp that meets all EPA requirements. So it is not inconceivable that we might see a two- stroke street bike again.
