What you don't want to hit is an Armadillo. Crunch thru the shell with the tire, then stick an slide! Thankfully, they move pretty slow and it's nearly always easy to just ride around them.

I've read somewhere that the Armadillo has been on the move, settling further north than history indicates they should.

density and speed determine impact... rabbits are light built , hogs are not... as for armadillos , went to Missouri a couple years ago. saw more armadillos there than ive seen around here (central texas) in quite awhile. in fact I was marveling at the numbers I was seeing in Missouri .... it is a wild , wild world out there ,were just driving through it...
