Fog and misting rain since yesterday morning, "smoke" rising from the mtns, about 7*C (45*F for the high). Roads not gonna dry today and not looking too good all week.

Better day here to give Alegeny a little TLC after Fridays romp in the mud...rode hard and put up wet.

Enjoy your ride Spasm.

We had a pretty good February snow storm come through and dumped about 8" of fairly wet snow on us. Only supposed to be up in the mid-20's for the next several days, so there will not be a lot of snow melt for a while.

The weather news was focused on Colorado this week, guess you're lucky that your show is measured in inches instead of feet.

I emigrated to Canada in 1972 and this is the mildest winter I can remember. Went for a 2hr ride yesterday in the salt and road grime 2c. Today high of 3c might go for a quick one but it is such an ordeal having to wash the salt and crap off for a 2hr ride.

The view out my front door as of 2 minutes ago.

The wet road along with my 34 degree temps say no riding the Tenere this weekend. Bummer. I did get to ride the Spyder 70 miles to the repair shop yesterday before the snow. That's a pretty common reason for a ride on the Spyder. It marks the 5 time it's gone to the shop since buying it new 9 months ago.

Have this setup for the bikes. Hooked it up an old siphon feed gun to help get in all areas. ACF50 seems to help with the corrosion and bike cleans up easier after the crap.

As it has a shelf life we share it between a few bikes as it goes a long way. Got mine from the local aviation supplier also.

Was in the mid 50's here in New Mexico. Took the DR650 out for a dirt ride, about 60 miles.
Turned cold on the way home, now it's about to snow.
:(

It's GET NEKKED weather here. Barely freezing. I'll probably do a little sun bathing today. Days are really stretching out now. We're picking up about 6 minutes a day of sunlight. I find my right hand reflexively twisting from time to time. I've been going into my remroom and trying on my helmet, jacket, boots ... stuff like that. The time is approaching rapidly now. The lure of the fire road is haunting me .... I'm able to keep going on, dreaming of the day when I'll once again have dust in my nose and bugs on my visor. As I gaze out the window, even though there is four feet of snow, I can see .... aw hell, I can only see snow. Better go shovel. Bye for now. R ::007::

53F and some off/on rain showers here today, but it's ok. I saw 65F yesterday and rode 300 miles, covering three states in the fun. Some wind and higher elevation lows in the mid 40s, but nothing a layer of polypro couldn't keep me comfy in. ;D
