Stop!!! You don't necessarily need new ones. Just get yours repaired.

Woody's Wheel Works is THE man who knows what to do!!

Look him up and call them and talk. They will steer you straight and true on what your options are.

This sounds like a great story, but we will need pictures. What I mean is that I would like to learn from your experience so please share.

and to add to what Phil has already said of Woody's, Woody's could also get you aftermarket rims to use with your hubs. You could do a larger front if you wanted. I don't know if the price to do this, but aftermarket has to be cheaper than OEM wheels.

That's the front rim

I'm sending them to woody to fix and hes going to quote me some new ones but I'm keeping stock sizes if i go that way.

150 each to fix them.

Like a sore d**k, you can't beat it

You listed that you are in New York city. Check with some of the Rice-Racer or customizer car shops and ask where their guys go locally!
Bent rims are a chronic problem for the showy cars with stupid low profile tires.

Maybe its worse than it looks but I think I would bang that back with a dead blow hammer...it looks like its hold air. but for $150 its probably worth have it done right.

If it was the rear wheel, I'd not be as worried. But 1 the bike isn't even a year old yet and 2 I'd hate to have a blow out at highway speeds and only have one wheel to rely on.

I'm really bummed as this is eating into my farkle funds but i'm sending them out to be done properly and while the wheels are off i'm going to tinker and clean and lube the bike properly before the spring is here and i absolutely don't want to take the bike apart in nice weather.

Thanks for the recommendation on woodys services. I called around locally within a 4 hour drive and no one can say for sure they will be able to straighten a tubeless spoked wheel with any kind of guarantee on quality :'(

As I've said, Woody is THE guy when it comes to spoked and tubeless rims!!!!

You'll be very happy!! And, if for some crazy reason (asteroid too close to Earth or a meteorite in Russia for example) you aren't happy or you have a question you can resolve it all with one simple call. They care about their reputation and their customer!!!

Woody can and does do excellent work, but check locally first. I bent my front wheel at least as much as yours or more riding off road in Death Valley and did a few quick calls to shops that googled up for Wheel Repair and found one close by near Las Vegas that would repair mine. Beat it back somewhat with a 8 ounce hammer another rider loaned me and rode down there that day. They pulled the wheel off the bike, dismounted the tire, straitened the wheel with a lead hammer and form, checked the true, both laterally and vertically and the balance of the wheel, then re-mounted the tire, re-checked the balance and reinstalled the wheel on the bike in just over an hour while i had lunch. Cost me $40 and tax!

I've put over 20k miles on the bike since then and had zero problems with that wheel.

Note that Woody's has this front wheel on ebay right now for $799 and that's a fair price for an almost complete wheel. Still needs brake rotors and maybe the ABS rotor/sensor ring.
