In April at approximately 1500 miles on the bike a deer hit my front end from the left side. Destroyed the side and front cowling and the bike had slide damage on the left side. SW bars saved quite a bit.
Both forks (as well as other parts) were replaced by the insurance. Dealer could not guarentee that they were not bent. The hit and fall happened at about 35 mph. Both are spotless. If I use my imagination I can sense that the left may have a lean in the inner fork tube but sometimes I look at it and it looks fine. The right side looks fine. The outer fork tube on both is flawless.
But a big disclaimer would go here that I am not a mechanic nor an expert in fork condition.
I have all the replaced parts and would be listing once the riding season ends (too busy riding now to do the inventory) but the forks, gas tank, exhaust and final drive will all be sold scratch and dent style.
Each fork leg would go for $250 plus shipping. Shipping would be from Pittsburgh.
I could take pics if interested, depending on where you are in New York a halfway meeting point could work for viewing in person and actually I'll be in Corning next week to pick up a college kid and then following the holiday to drop off.
