::012:: My first brand new bike in 31 years is in the driveway - a 2013 matte gray Super Tenere ::012::
And at a good enough price to permit some farkling 8).
This will be my daily commuter. I'm planning on a LED driving light, louder horns (Hella Super Tones most likely; they worked very well on my '85 Nighthawk) and panniers, as I'm tired of using a backpack to carry laptop, etc. For more adventuresome rides, a skid plate and crash bars, but those can wait for a bit.
I took my 250 lb son for a ride this evening; we both agreed that Sport mode really isn't suitable for two up riding .
Man is this thing fun to ride.... now I need to do 600 miles worth of break in.
