Seems a bit contradictory to me. One sentence he says the S10's not in the same league as tuther usual suspects bikes in this class, then goes on to say it only having a 'docile'112hp, a narrowness n low centre of gravity are advantages in comparison to the Euro bike competition... ::)

We were warned. He told us his level of experience in off-road and it reminded me of a friend once telling me he could ride a motorcycle with an authority in his voice of a veteran. He had a mini bike when he was in 7th grade. And the author then compares the ST to three other bikes that he has not had in a similar riding environment. And his "unrefined" remark? Is not the bike that is most trusted to get one there and back not the most refined? I thought refined was another word for "impurities or unwanted elements having been removed".

These so called moto journalists are the epitome of yellow journalism.
