I watched him build most of the bikes in these pictures. In his videos that is! I didn't know they were at Barber! I need to get back down there! It is so amazing to watch him take a hack saw and cut those old valuable engine cases apart and weld them back together and make different engines. He is definitely skilled!

I used to work with Allen, he used to bring his bikes to the fire station to show me. He was headhunted by a US firm but the deal fell through because he refused to write down how he does it. He does it all in his head. He told me he wouldn’t enjoy it if he had to write it down. Gifted guy

Very interesting. I can liken that to Einstein's Thought Experiments. Some people are really not suited to being Academic. Which can lead to them being labeled stupid. But being Academic is more monkey see monkey do than actually being clever. Gifted people are often put down by Academics. It just shows you what they can actually do. He is an extremely impressive man.
