I am starting to look for a used Tenere and have had luck with WTB posts before. I really prefer a white '13 but could be persuaded by another year/color for the right deal. Just looking for a clean lower mileage bike and hopefully somewhere somewhat near Kansas City. Looking to buy in the next month or so. Let me know what you guys have!

Yeah I watch the classifieds daily on here and adv plus a few other places. Sometimes people are just thinking about selling but not sure they want to go through the hassle. Or are trading in but then see I'm looking and decide to sell to me. Finding '13s used is tough too so I'm trying everything.

Yes it is. I found a 2012 that is in fantastic shape. Very happy with it and saved $2500 or so over a new one.snakebitten said:

Thanks! Yeah I prefer to buy used to save that initial depreciation hit. Plus I will be racking up a lot of miles since I will be using it for work. I need to find one to take for a test ride though first to make sure it's what I think it is.

But there are a couple of folks on this board that would say I'm pretty close. (one of them just rode from New Jersey to Southwest Texas via Phoenix!)

It is a little bit of a break in road trip, BUT Port Washington Yamaha in Wisconsin has a White 2013 that is listed at 11,500 right now. Brand new, out of box. By the time you get back to Kansas it will be broken in and ready for the first oil change.

Thanks for the lookout. I have found one closer and cheaper than that actually. I was really hoping to find a nice used one for under 9-10k but it seems like nobody wants to sell theirs for less than what new ones are going for now.
