There are many options. From inexpensive to expensive. Very basic- to custom.

What are your expectations & budget ?

Will this be mated to an equally ‘upgraded’ rear shock. They work “together”, front and rear.....

I think Tabasco means will this be mated to an equally upgraded set of forks! :) There aren’t 2 rear shocks on an ST , so the rear shocks don’t have to be matched to work together .. :)

A ridiculous amount of improvement can be had by respringing the rear shock. This is the route I took before I found a used Ohlins. Racetech has the bits you need to go on either end of the spring. I went with Eibach 08002251000 as the spring.

Under "Rear Shock and Spring Kits" you can find the collars you'll need, and they'll sell you a spring too if you want to get it all in one place.

That is the spring I used. I'm about 230 w/o gear and this was about optimal for me. Racetech also has a spring rate calculator to help you calculate what you might need.

This is the least expensive way to do something about the undersprung rear shock.

Interestingly, when I put 250# into the spring calculator, it returns the second-highest spring.

I'm stoked they sell the shock collars; that was the one piece I couldn't figure out before. The next step up for the Eibach springs is the 0800.250.1200, which is the equivalent of the strongest spring on the RaceTech site.
