There is some space available below the under seat carrier that can be used as toolbox.
Somebody has modified it creating an easy access?

can you expand on your question?
under rider seat or passenger seat?
if you're after passenger seat, forget it. Not enough room to bother with, and access is not easy.
For a non ES model there's enough room under the seat for a decent sized tool kit. That's about it.

If the Photobucket disaster hasn't killed them, there's a thread somewhere around here from a member who cut the top of the seat carrier to make a storage area. You'd probably want to replace the 2 seat hold down screws with wing-bolts and protect the wires in the compartment.

Thank you Checkswrecks.
I did a search before posting and could not find it with or without pictures.
Yo understood perfectly what I am looking for. Half of my rides are with my wife, so storage space is important. My idea is to store there required things you rarely use, but you want to carry... like Stop&Go, compressor, special tools, etc.
I inspected the plastic cover below the rear seat. If you cut a hole I believe will not support the rear seat. So my idea is to perforate a hole to such plastic cover and insert below a reinforcement with aluminium.
If I do the mod, I will post it with pictures. In the meantime, if somebody has done it of found the thread you mention will be appreciated.

I have had that Altrider setup on both my Tenere's. Storm Industries makes a custom storage bag for the space. I carry an Air Pump, Tire Repair (plugs) Kit, a few Tools, and I still have some extra space. Most people do not see the bag.

Good ideas. I will create a box that I will fix under my Touratech Tpocase base. Please see available space under Topcase in the attaches pictures.
.... but still will try to develop the idea to store under the rear seat carrier.
