I just pulled the trigger on a set of Denali D4 2.0 auxiliary lights and the bracket (LAH.06.10000) that bolts under the headlight that positions the pods on either side.

In the bracket reviews, they say that I need to trim the cover/beak under the headlight a small amout so I can mount it back. Does anyone of you got that same bracket and modified the cover? How simple is it and do you have pictures of the modification?

I ride a 2016 S10.

If you mount the lights inboard like that, put the bike on the center-stand to fully extend the front end, then measure up from the fender. The suspension travel is 7.5" and if you don't have that much you will sooner or later break the lights or fender.

I installed the same lights and brackets on my 2015 a few months ago. I had to do zero modifications to the bike in order for the brackets to get put on, they just bolt right in.

I also purchased the light module, love that thing. Lights are incredibly bright...
