So is the Super Tenere Forum going to have a place for the Tenere 700? I'm sure many of us are curious, at least because of the namesake. I've actually subscribed to this guys channel after watching the video when it was released because I like his practical and no-nonsense approach.

At first I didn't think the 700 Tenere would appeal to me, but then I ride my 1998 DR650 regularly because the "basicness" of it is appealing. A new 700 Tenere should be better in every way yet remarkably similar in concept and mission statement.

Staying tuned.

Edit: Well duh. I see I'm in the 'Tenere 700 Discussion' forum, so I guess that answers my question.

.
I sold my DR650 to fund the Super Tenere and do not regret it a bit because it is a much better fit for the riding I actually do. However, I sure do miss that battleship grey thumper. (mine was a 2012). I took it everywhere. Even though I don't need a T700, I sure do want one, for the same reasons the DR650 appealed to me. Like you stated, the T700 seems to hit the same marks but be better in every way. Where is the aftermarket tank to allow the T700 to go 300 miles? :)

If I pick up a T700, I will definitely keep the ST as well.

I subscribed as well, the last video I watched had him riding around with his buddy on a KTM790 so I hope to see more comparisons to the KTM in the future. I have FZ-1 I might have to sell to fund the T700 if I get the urge, but the SUPER Tenere is staying put!

Saw one today in the flesh and they look lovely. The seat looks very off-roadish so designed for moving around on. The guy said he's getting 70mpg on it but he is not caning it.
