I miss my old Super Ten 750 it got SMIDSY last year a day of great loss, I've text'd him so if he's coming it will be good, unless he turns up on "Austrias Revenge"! (a K.T.M.)

I had an excellent day out first visiting the small village of Slaidburn where I met some pals at the cafe for some tea and food ::008::....followed by a great ride over the moors through High and Low Bentham finally arriving at Devils Bridge to meet up with the other lads who had travelled down from the Tyneside area.

I agree that it was great to meet others and to finally put faces to names.

Good to see you all and until next time here's a group mugshot.....as I'm terrible with names each can fill in their own ....I'm far left ::008::

Yup a great afternoon, plenty o' tea, Teneres and yaking.

It was great to meet you all and put faces to names, It's a small world too.

First group ride will hopefully be before the end of May, around the Lakes, West Yorks or North Lancs.

Sorry for being vague there but there are so many good roads about it's hard to decide!

Got home to see the wife had made a Ploughmans for tea with sweet piccalilli on the side and fresh barms form the local bakery, top girl!

Yeah, it I'll take some doing but it's possible, perhaps and this is just a perhaps, contact the Tenere forum and S.T.N. and just have a "Tenere" weekend?

For now though I'd be happy to see a herd of 1200s together, as yesterday they're not as uncommon as you'd think, folks were riding in on them all the time we were there. Still they're more "exclusive" than those weaving sheds on wheels sorry I mean BMWs.

I had a cracking run there and back over the Lancashire/Yorkshire moors. It was great to meet you all and enjoyed the brew and chinwag. Back home our Hetty had managed to produce something edible for tea, then it was off down the pub and reflect on a thoroughly enjoyable day ::013::
