Yeh I'm enjoying mine the more I hear it. Think I was just expecting 'loud' like my previous bikes n there cans. Deffo a nice burble n on the revs its somewhat more throaty. ::008:: One thing I reckon though is it does give a power gain contrary to what the sales chap said.. Tested performance a few times against me mates Tenere n mine is the quickest of the 2. Either though I was loaded with panniers whilst he wasn't. Roll on acceleration at any speed my bike had the upper hand. Not particularly important, but I won't turn down the extra pep... :) Deffo a bargain 80 quid buy...
Think thats helping confirm my suspicions Bob, been up round your neck of the woods today, about 20 / 22 of us stopped off for for breakfast at Forest Pines :)

That's a wee group of ya doing breakfast! Happy cafe owner for sure... Presume it was some sort of club meet? There was lots of bikes out today n don't know if ya posse of bikes were out for the same reason, but think alot were out to see the 2 Lancaster bombers flyover up at Derwent Reservoir. A few of us tanked it up to see em. Glad we went on the bikes cus the area was absolutely rammed. Worth it to see the last 2 flying flyable Lancasters together though with the Canadian sister bomber coming over the pond to join the Brit one for...

Yeah my local IAM group went on a run. Didnt know about the Lancasters, would have been worth a detour to see one let alone 2 of them
The Canadian Lanc is hangered just outside Hamilton, Ontario, about an hour from where I live. Beautiful bird, and oh what a sweet sound! ::008::

Nice pic! What aircraft were you in when you took it?

Thanks... The pic was taken in the Peak District of Derbyshire (adjacent Derwent dam, famed for the Lancaster bomber bouncing bomb trials) if you didn't happen to know... Actually the Lancasters flew low, down the middle of a valley whilst I stood higher up on a hill. Was a real thrill n deffo unusual to see it drift by below me. ::008::

Ah, understood. What a great view from that vantage point!

Cool pics.
I should have got my dad up north to have a look. He was a tail gunner through the war, suvived his first crew and finished his tour with a second. 91 years old and still kicking ass !

(Bit off topic, sorry)
