Two week adventure west for an easterner

Left 8-4 destination camp for 7 days in Durango, CO. I carried my Tenere and DR650.

Camp Durango

I did a few things on the Tenere but most were two up which means I was limited. I'm not about to bust up the tenere with a DR650 in my possession.

Animas Forks my wife said this was it no going any further.

Ophir Pass by myself on the Tenere, easy.

Old lime rd again easy

Dr650 stuff and the studd stuff, black bear pass, not as hard as everyone makes it out to be.

I also did Imogene, Engineer and Cinamon all on the DR.

Rode up to Moab for two days on the tenere left the camper and truck in Durango.

Hiked throughout Arches National park then rode to Valley of the gods in Utah.

The Moki Dugway

Pulled up stakes at Durango and headed to the grand canyon south rim. I never unloaded a motorcycle there it's just to easy to use the shuttle service. We hiked for two days enjoyed it.

Headed back to MS in the morning it's a three day haul. Dirty tenere and DR nicely tucked away in the rear. Great trip with lots of memories.

yeah thanks for sharing - so you load both the S10 & DR in the bed of the Tundra or is the rear of your trailer where one of them go?

Karson they have their own bedroom.
