I've been more than happy with my Leo Vince since I'd slipped it on about 6 months ago. Sounds great, little poppy, lets everybody know that I'm around if I pop the throttle.

I'm prepping for a long trip, so I just started getting my ass ready for some seat time. Yesterday I did a 500 mile loop and decided that Leo is coming off the bike for my long trip. It got to me. I'm going back to stock to knock some of the noise off and keep my sanity. I wear ear plugs, but they won't cut it for 8 days of 500 miles each. I'll happily slip Leo back in place once I get home and want to be a badass again.

Smart move.

I have the Yoshimura can and it is just the right volume and sound for touring with the baffle left in. If you take the baffle out, it sounds great for around town hooligan riding.

What you can do is modify the db Killer to reduce gas flow. Slower the flow, the quieter it is. Lengthen the db Killer or block some of the holes.

I have the akra and it is not noisy. You can hear a bit of the rumble during highway speeds but it is not intrusive to rider's comfort. It doesn't have a removable baffle so can't get it to go louder.

I love my LV. I use it without the DB reducer.

The LV comes with 2 DB reducers and I fitted the turned down version for a 2 up trip to Spain. No issues and nice and "quiet". No complaints from the wife but I missed the deep bass sound.

I think the LV gives the bike the character it deserves without being offensive.

Hmmmm...??... I didn't think about trying that ugly little elbow temporarily. Luckily is didn't get chucked in the trash yet.
