I saw a post for some Rizoma LED signals and was surfing around checking them out (sexy but ooooh so pricey...) and stumbled across these adapter plates:

I have a set of the $1.29 Touratech look-a-likes on their way from China and once they get here and I have a chance to dig in I will probably look at getting some of these if I can't figure a simple way to craft some of my own.

So for $4 + $20 S&H from China on ebay and $15 + S&H you can have the exact same thing Touratech is offering for $189 ??? Tops, $60 assemble the kit DIY. On;y bummer is I don't think the Touratech/China solution is going to have daytime running mode. I bet if we search around there is a way ...

Persoanlly think the stockers are ugly and going to guess they are about as durable in a crash as the Vstrom ones ... which is to say they are a gonner :)

I used to have a set very similar to those on one of my Buells. My riding buddies used to tell me they couldn't see them in the bright daylight, but they were fine at night.
Can you tell us how they look in the sunlight? are they pretty bright?
Thanks

when i had mine one hooked up fiddling with the inline resistors before finally returning them, there should be no problem in daylight at all. they are just as bright, and imo perhaps brighter than the stockers

Did you have to make an adapter plate for the outside and inside and if so, are they the same teardrop size/shape?
