Hi all
Finally it seems that I will have the 21” front wheel.
The rim is not tubeless so I wonder if I could fix a Tubliss system.
Does any of you have some experience with it?
Do you think it can works in such a heavy bike?

Thanks! ::003::

Tubliss in a Super Ténéré

I was thinking the same thing. The Tubliss system in the US is not DOT approved. I don know why it wouldn't work. I read over on ADV a lot of folks running them on the highway but always on lighter bikes.

I think WASP runs a 21" Not sure what type he is running, but he might be able to help you out.

Part of the problem is that the 21 inch rim is not tubeless. So even if you get it so that it stops air leaking past the spokes, the inside of the outer rim is not designed to be tubeless and the tire can peel off if the presure is low. ::001::

I have ran Tubliss since the have been available. The front Tubliss will only work with 1.60" wheel width. That is the biggest obstacle to running it on larger bikes like the Tenere.

@red cat, The Tubliss system is designed to work with non Tubless wheels. The tire will stay on the wheel even if you loose all the air in the tire, providing the high pressure tube on the inside is still inflated.

I ran them for two years on a KTM 530 EXC with no problems.

Currently sealing the spokes with silicon seal appears to the only method to make a wider non Tubeless wheel Tubeless.

Ok, thanks.
I'm looking for a 1.85" wheel width so, the Tubliss won't work. :(

I'm not sure if Woody sealed with silicon Wasp wheel or he's having a tube witch is the easyer option but I would like to avoid if I can.
