All this looks quite good after the shite day at work i've just had. Fantastic Bigguy...keep on truckin' (and posting!)
I more than hear you. Bad days suck but there are good days following the bad.
I tripped last week and fell forward onto my knee. Just found out today that my kneecap is broken. Hoping it heals without surgery. Life sucks at times. Life is great other times. Make the most out of each day we have and it will always be a great day.

Bravo!
What part of Italy did you explore?
I stayed in the north. Heat was doing a number after crossing Spain. I also wasn't feeling like I found the 'spot' so I kept going east and enjoying more. Italy (France and Switzerland also) just didn't do it for me.
Here is my basic 2022 trip

Thanks all for your kind words. There were so many BMW GSAs riding the western side of Europe so it was nice to have a S10 from the USA playing in their backyard.
I have ride reports for all my rides. Never saw much of an area to post pics or ride reports here. Not sure if posting links to other ADV forum is okay??

I’ll leave the mods to respond re the links to other forums, however I understand that this is where ride reports go on here,

I for one would be keen to have a look at your trip report.

I can't say I ever looked in tall trails. The name left me thinking it was where all the flaming, beer drinking, soap box commenting off-topic things went and I stay away from that type of stuff.
I will look at putting some ride reports together for future travels. Working out logistics of Kazakstan, Mongolia, India, South America ride home route. Not sure about giving links to ADVRider of past ride reports or if I would do a copy/paste from my ride reports to here??
I assumed that most everyone here also goes to ADVRider. Is that not true?

Looks like somewhere between Romania and Greece you dropped your auxiliary fuel cells. What happened?
Good eye!!
I stopped at Moto Camp in Bulgaria for an oil change and work out motorcycle storage. Since I was coming back to Moto Camp, I left my aux fuel and all camping supplies there. It was nice having the bike unloaded but the extra weight saving vs not having my fuel and camping gear was not worth it. Never again.

Great photos of your Tenere adventures. I’m planning on taking my 2017 S10 up the Dempster Highway next summer. What tires did you use on your rides up there?

My favorite is the Mitas E07 Dakar (not E07+) not because of how it handles mud/ rain or other terrain but because it's very thick rubber and feel can take more abuse. With that said, I tried the E07+ in 2019 and it wore out in less than half the miles the E07 did so in Fairbanks I bought a Continental TKC 70 and proceeded to ride to Prudhoe Bay and many other remote roads in Alaska without issues.
Below are a few images I took out of a tire presentation I did at a Horizons Unlimited meeting in Bulgaria.

Thanks for your experience with the tires. I’m trying to source some Mitas 07 Dakar for my Tenere but both Revzilla and Cyclegear show they are out of stock. Hopefully they are still being made and available in the US or Canada by next summer.

That sucks.
Riding both the Demster and Alcan. Alcan was rougher from potholes but was more of a typical USA dirt road. The Dempster was smaller rock bits (not sand but not typical USA dirt road mix). They mix a lot of salt into the road so if it's raining, the mud will stick to everything. Even without rain, road maintenance will water road so plan on some wet areas no matter what. You will also notice sections of the road have different styles of maintenance and adjust as needed. Below is what the mud can do if you want to ride thru it. I thought it was just riding in the rain on a dirt road but their calcium chloride roads (salt) destroyed my brakes.

I rode up the Alaska Highway in 1973 for the first time with a Suzuki 500 Titan when most of the road was then unpaved. I still remember slogging through the muddy all day just to make 150 miles. Next summer I plan a 50 year anniversary ride back up to the north county from my home in Oregon. The Dempster is particularly appealing due to its remoteness and a chance to ride above the Arctic Circles to the Beaufort Sea.
