Kind of bummed out. I was ready to blow a bunch of $$$ on Touratech farkles, but they don't have any ST gear in stock. I checked and they told me 6 to 8 weeks for engine guards, pannier racks and etc. I guess there isn't enough demand...

I ordered a headlight protector back in June and was told today there's still no sign of them being produced, not a happy boy, I was going to buy some protection bits for ABS sensors but they have no S10 parts in the UK at all.

I asked if they were possibly re-designing things, but they said no. So in my mind it is a lack of demand thing for ST gear. Pity...

It's a pity indeed, more so that the uk TT store is 15 mins from my home!

toura tech primary focus is on serving BMW , not Yamaha... that being said ( I have zega pro boxes, so I like their products ) they tend to get away from stocking products for older models of the tenere... guess what , there are other companys that have great products for the tenere.... try alt rider.... their crash bars are second to none... lots of good things at alt rider, and mostly American made... don't put up with bad service..

Touratech is a place I will buy nothing from....nothing. IMO, with the exception of SOME of the panniers, their items are cheap junk and HIGHLY overpriced. I actually questioned them on this and asked why we here in America are being hit with prices almost double then Europe...we have no tax and the average tax there is 21% built into the price. The response I got was shipping costs....bullshit. Seattle is closer to Asia than Europe. If you wanted to do a total Touratech farkle, it would be cheaper to buy a ticket to Germany, buy what you need AND go to the airport upon departure to get your 21% back...yes, little known fact, Germany is tax free for Americans, and carry the items back here.

Touratech is geared for the near retired lawyer or doctor that wants a cool bike and has the money to fly their colors on his new BMW that will have issues within the year.

Pretty much agree with Tim. I have Zega Pro panniers because there wasn't much available in 2011, but for protection, no thank you. Rumbux all the way.

... and btw, got Rumbux crash bars in stock for the Super Ten. ;)

Boy that sucks with a capitol "S". I had my heart set on a set of black Zega Pros, top case and stainless racks.

Is the S10 really that unpopular?

Their crash bars are weak. I drop my bike...very slow drop. Bars r bend n it wasn't obvious initially but realized I could not remove the right panel that covers the electricals. The bars were actually saved from further embarrassment by the factory crash guard that prevented the bars from collapsing further. Would HV gone with Givi but TT had the stock. This is Malaysia.

Adksuper10, don't be afraid of purchasing the panniers or the stainless pannier racks , they are top quality... it is the best thing they make , it is pricey, and I like my boxes a lot.... the negative is the lack of support for our bike and that they are over priced on everything they sell...500.00 for a tank bag that still needs a rain cover ( that price is approximate as I'm too sleepy to check their currant price this morning)... I like the skid plate they make , it would serve my riding style just fine... but the question is do they have one that fits a 2012 , their site suggest they do , but the order system says they don't, so I will have to call them to see if what they offer will actually fit , and I'm thinking it will not... in short , they make a great pannier , if you like them buy them ... the stainless pannier racks are very well made no issues with them and you won't have issues either.... but as for crash bars and some other stuff they make you can find better at other vendors.... for less money...

Thanks Madhatter. I think the Zega Pros are a great looking pannier. It's going to be a hard choice between the TTs and Bumot. The TTs look nicer in my opinion but the Bumots are sold here in my home state by Jason. Time and availability will tell.

Blu3B3bst, that's pretty typical of Touratech. They seldom have much in stock. I would like to buy several items now, but they are out of stock. In the past, they told me 2 weeks, but that turned into 2 months. It's too bad I would really like to get a set of Zega pro panniers soon. I believe they have free shipping now on orders over $150.

I can't think of a single part that TT sells that I wouldn't rather have one from somebody else, either because the TT is vastly overprices, sucks, or both.

It's no tragedy that TT is low on ST stock...
