I went a few years ago myself when I had a xt660z it was a good event,I felt it was just a gs event tons of them and a good chance to show of all the touratech stuff,ride outs were good,however I think cause I have been once that's enough.i do a bit of camping myself in Wales and that's what I like.if you have never been before worth a try though.

I'll be travelling down on the Friday, my intention is to stay the full 4 days, hopefully there will be enough going on to keep my interest over that time

Don't know about 4 days spent there, but it's still a good base to explore South Wales from... I'm just doing Saturday night, then come Sunday morning I might venture further into Wales for another night or set off for home to drink lots of Sunday afternoon bank holiday beer... :)
Oh n seems not many S10's seem to be going off here, so best start learning German... ;)

Enjoyable weekend with Dave and Rob. Good company and good conversation ( when Rob let you get a word in edgeways ). And slightly eventful - I'll let Rob supply the details to that. Cheers guys.

Yes was good to meet ya proper Dave after ya sideline appearance at the CMC meet! :D Turned out the rainy weather held off and we could mess about unabated for the Saturday. Soz ya didn't get to say much, your turn the next time we cross paths... ;) Better to spend time with achatterbox than the silent type ey! :p Anyhows, Touratech was worth a ride over and I'll probs go again next year. Deffo going to thread lock me pannier/topbox locks well before that trip tho. As Dave touched briefly upon, 'slightly eventful' felt like an understatement for me. Put me emptied panniers next to me tent locked. Locked me helmet in topbox. Later on tried getting in topbox n key got stuck and I couldn't turn it either way. Short story, one of the bloody lock screws had felt out. Spent an hour or more trying to get in the box, but the key looked likely to break in the lock if I kept struggling. Nearly resorted to breaking in cus obviously I was stuffed for doing the 185 miles ride home with helmet in box n panniers locked off the bike so no use for all me camp gear... Anyhows, short n curly of it all, after partially dismantling the box n nearly taking it to the mechanics in Touratech, big Dave came along n after a bit of huffing n puffing, he finally managed to wiggle the key free in tact! ::012:: God my relief... So cheers for that mate ::003:: n too everyone else who has the Yam cases.., check ya locks n thread lock the screws now n not later like me. Ya'll regret not doing so... ::)

I was not that bothered about going but Rob bullied me into going lol glad as well enjoyed it not loads at the event but great base for a cracking bike weekend.

After leaving the event I had a couple of days in South Wales with great weather most of the time :)

Any pictures fellas :question: ::008::
Only really took a quick vid, but no idea how to put up here, so just a couple of crappie pics here to show. First pic, on route to the event n second panorama pic was took before a lot of the attendees arrived... n there were quite a lot camped up by the end of the day. Maybe Dave took more?...
