Do you have a pic looking down from the riders position?

It looks like the rear mounting bars might get in the way of your legs?

Very nice, Longboard. Yup, they look great. Hard to see in the photos, but do those mount at the side slider mounting points in addition to the back of the frame? Interesting.

Oh I got one in the garage. Hopefully you will get "yours" done and then I will sell mine to get it.

I can't wait when the dollors are in the pocket :D.

Yes, they also attach to the side slider. You get alot of protection without having crash bars that look like they were made for a 4x4.

... and the question you knew somebody would ask... can you remove RH lower side panel with the bars still attached? From the looks of it, we might have a fighting chance. :)

Although not as important, can you remove the LH side panel?

Only if he lets the bike free fall, or better yet gives it a healthy shove on the way down. After all, this is Touratech we're talking about.:)

OK I took some photos to answer your questions.

1. No, the bars in no way interfere with my legs or knees.

2. Yes, you came remove the right side panel with no problem. The left side should be the same.

Ya, no plans to lay the bike on its side for you guys to see ::005::. When/if I go down I will make sure to snap a couple for you all ::008::.

Here is a couple more pics.

That does look sweet.. I noticed in the first pics you had the OEM bash plate. Who makes the one in the last pic?

+1. The Touratechs are couple of bills more than say SW motech or Givi, and are probably the most expensive bars available, but MAN do they do a good job of blending form with function on these. Not quite the same coverage as the Altrider, but I'm thinking they will be more than adequate in almost any situation.
