In not a techie, I'm a cheapie. Don't want to pay the shop to slap new pads on my rear wheel. Can anyone tell me the torque values needed to replace the rear caliper? Anything else I should know before I start this? I did a quick search but could find the info. Thanks in advance for your help.

All the info you need is in there. You can purchase one here: http://www.yamahapubs.com/

I'll share with you, if you don't have it by the time I get home. But in the meantime I think you would be fine with a little blue locktite and nice snug bolts.

Thanks, John. I know some guys swear you have to torque everything to spec. I'll give it a shot.

Never mind. That was about the easiest thing I've ever done on a motorcycle. I'm ashamed I even asked for help.

I have a word document with common torque settings, PM me your E-Mail address if you want it.

Just what you need for oil / wheel changes etc. I keep it pinned up on the garage wall for handy reference
