Premium? Dark? Nahhh, that's what they make Porter for. My favorite Yuengling brew...

I'm not drinking until I'm done tiling for the night. I finished one side of the kitchen over X-mas, now I'm doing the other. It's a lot of work, but I need to save my cash for this Spring, hence my DIY.

When I DO get around to drinking, I think I have a few Black and Tans left in the fridge.

Does Yuengling make a bad brew? I actually bought these to have two to go in my deer steak chili tomorrow, but had one to wash down supper. I'm done. Gives the chili a nice sweet nutty side and cooking scores kitchen pass points.

Good luck with the tile.

Spasm is probably wondering what the heck is a Yuengling? :D

Made about forty miles from here. We also have the second Sam Adams brewery ( only two total ) about another 35 miles from Pottsville.

Limey, yes, single malt on the rocks. Glenfiddich tonight. LMAO! Venture, this is funny b/c I'm chasing scotch w/ a Yuengling Lite. I've never seen the "premium" on the label. The Blak & Tan is a favorite. Good way to end the night. Dreaming about spring w/ a night cap. Cheers!

Hell, I even know what Yuengling is living here in Seattle. Yes a good tasting beer I had back living in Ohio.

tenerejack, for a single malt Glenfiddich 15 year old is what I usually drink its about $65 for 750 ml. For a blended the best I have ever tried is Johnnie Walker Blue Label $250 for 750 ml up my way.

If you like whiskey, forget scotch, try an Irish such as Jameson, much smoother goes down a treat, but I don't know if its available on the other side ?? and for beer it has to be a dark one, not chilled to death.

This is my current tipple, and very mellow it is too. Just a few drops of water and it is whisky heaven...

Limey, the 15 yr Glenfiddich here is ~$50 US and the Blu Label JW is a couple hundred. I've never spent that much scratch on a bottle of whiskey. I think I'll try the McCallan. To me, Johnny Black is fine. That's what I order in the bar but Scotch in any bar is costly. I like to chase it w/ a hoppy beer. My Glenfidditch is almost gone. I'll p/u a bottle of McCallan this weekend and let you know what I think.

A family member gave me a bottle of Nikolai vodka for Christmas. No thanks! I still remember puking off of that crap back in college. I can go cheap, but not that cheap, at least not any more.
