I guess it's a toss up?
Some like them some don't..
I ran Heidenau K60's on the rear once and thought it was a poor tire..
A ton of folks love them..
I pulled it at 6k i just wasn't feeling the love.
Wear life was ok but you could feel that wear on the road and in the rain.
I found it to be sloppy feeling in the rain and with the solid center strip it didn't win big on the trail for me.
Yes i had the psi correct dropped some air before trail riding..
I get around 6k max on a rear Shinko 705 the tire i am running now and is ready for a change is the Full Bore..
And i like it over the 705, I'm at over 7k and can see maybe getting to 8k.
At first they felt a little weird but they all do in IMO, figure you have been riding around on a flat spot the last thousand or so miles on the old tire it's gonna feel odd.
But I can't find them anymore, apparently they are moving from what i was told and no one has any in stock.
The 705 front i can't compare it to the 19" front as i run 90x90x21 i get around 12 to 14k on the front before it needs change mainly due to cupping.
I have tried many brands on a few bikes over the years, on my Triumph Tiger 1050 i had a go with lots of road tires, and in the end they all died around 6 to 7k, the Avon was a winner for longer life at close to 8k.
In the end i stuck with the Shinko 009 raven for the price point and very good traction with the same wear.
