tires balanced

Does Yamaha not balance the tires from the factory ? I just put on new tires and could not find any weights on the rims .

Not all tires need them. I balance my own, and I've had the occasional tire that didn't require any weights.

Mine are painted black, same as my rim(s). I didn't see mine at first.

In my experience about one out of twenty wheels won't need any weights. I changed two tires on a HD Road Glide yesterday and neither wheel needed any weights. About half the time I'll put new weights right back on where I pulled off the old weights. I'll average changing 15-20 tires a week during riding season.

Both sets of Michelin tires on my bike have required very little weight to balance. Some of the cheaper and/or heavier tires such as the Mitas E07 or Shinko 705's take a bunch of weight to balance.
