A couple of weeks ago I bought an essentially NOS 2013 Gen 1 S 10 with 3000 miles on it. My second S 10 but pretty farkle free. I am 6'5" tall so so far I added a taller windshield by National Stream (ok) grip puppies, and A Sargent seat.

Here are some things that I want to do. Not poor but not made of money either so best value is fine by me. Your input is appreciated

Engine guards
Skid Plate
Cruise Control Will Gen 2 stuff plug and play?
Tank bag
Tires (I know this is a very opinion specific topic)
Kick stand plate
Wind wings
Lights and bar
Expresso Machine ( had one on my last Goldwing)
Compressor
That cool plate below the instrument panel
Windshield wind dam thingy
Thanks all

Mike

BTW she ain't clean anymore.......

Nice like new skid plate in the For Sale section, and an OEM tank bag. I prefer to buy used to keep the costs affordable.

I'll answer the cruiser control question since I've investigated this recently.

OEM 2014 cruise control is not backward compatible. The only aftermarket true cruise control is made by McCruise. It's not cheap at almost $600usd but compared to $200+ for a throttle lock that only works well on flat roads... well, my motto is cry once.
FWIW, installation looks pretty straightforward.

You can do cheap lights and a bar off Amazon. Mictuning or Nilights. Good bang for your buck. For crash bars/skid plate, T Rex is a great combo for the price. For cruise control, you’ll need to look at MCCruise, which is plug and play, or Rostra, which isn’t. You can get aftermarket wings on EBay, as well as a knock off MRA Xscreen, which should help your wind management woes.

In my opinion. . . . crash bars, skid plates, and lights, are in the same category as tires. . . . everybody loves something different. I am surprised that you're trying to reduce your wind flow. You live in one of the few places that gets hotter than here. I'm pretty sure there's a member that selling the filler plates.

Sierra1, I broke my neck in two places in 2015 so a little less wind is better. I asked my neurosugeon when I could ride a bike again. His answer:

NEVER

Well. . . . . there's always that. Then, instead of a expresso machine. . . . maybe an a/c unit.
