I wish mine wasn't off, too. Mostly because I'd like for it to be right, but I don't stress on it. I mentally subtract 5 degrees form what it's reading and it tends to agree with what my phone is showing for current weather if I stop and check it.
I'd ditch air temp for tire pressure in a heart beat.
Some people can't wait to add a gear indicator, either. I just figure out what RPM I want to be operating at if I want max power, other wise I make a mental note of what rpm 60-70 mph is in top gear, and stop shifting. ::001::
