Bricks with wheels don't do well when it comes to wind resistance.Twitch said:... a lifted TJ for muddin...both gas hogs. :-X
I have a problem with windshields too….SisuTen said:The biggest problem is windshield loss. Our gravel is composed of granite and I lose a windshield about every 2-3 months. 6 of them so far. Safelite loves me, my insurance company doesn't. I also wheel an '81 Scrambler.
Not sure about an Italian diesel. :-\Venture said:Oh YEAH. Very cool.
Official word from Jeep is that the Gladiator concept is "too far away from an actual production vehicle" for them to produce. The best you can get know is a conversion package for the Unlimited models that covers up the rear doors, adds a false floor and a half cab with bulkhead. I'd love for Jeep to produce a real pickup, I still see Commanches around here occasionally, along with the earlier J10s.Brntrt said:I'll bet ya a nickel this is what we'll get. A new Scrambler.
