Absolutely. My CamelBak, which I did not get for this particular reason, was life changing. Riding around for 10hrs a day in the Texas summertime . . . . I always stayed hydrated. My buddies that "didn't want to bother with it" . . . . ended up with kidney stones. I am proud to say that I have never had the displeasure of pissing rocks.
yeah i got into motorcycles from bicycling.. so i already had a camelback and shorts with chamois pads in them... there's a lot of crossover in gear and skillsets. I try to use the good ideas from both worlds.

I'm in east TN near Chattanooga. I bought my 2019 ST summer of 2019. I was going to use it for the rallies I went to each year (riding the WR250R to them was too painful). COVID stopped the rallies I went to which were mostly old people BMW rallies. Luckily the neighbors used their child pandemic money to get into motorcycles, so I rode the ST around with them some. I do feel the left side radiator heat now and again when going slow, but that's because I wear a Joe Rocket mesh suit in the summer. I wear the Aerostich Darien jacket and AD-1 pants when it's wet or below 70, and I don't have much of a problem with the heat. If anything I have to remember to lower the windshield when it's hot and raise it back up when it's cold.
