Hi Fella's, Ladies,

Having seen a fair number of posts for meets, ride outs etc for the rest of the country, does anyone live in South East/South of England and fancy a meet?

Its cool to ride an adventure, but we cant all do hundreds of miles, all of the time.

Any ideas or suggestions woud be great.

PS, I,m not an organiser just a rider who likes to ride and meet...

You could become an organiser! It's not that difficult see how much response you get, sort a route, date agreeable to all parties, maybe some overnight accommodation for those who are travelling a bit further job done and everyone happy. I've just done one in Norfolk for the Tiger 800 forum it really is not very difficult!!!! I'm willing to do it again for S10 riders if there's enough interest??

Not sure about that, but here in the west country there are hardly any S-10's around. During the summer, usual rides across to Abergavenny and Aberystwyth, out of 100's of street and sports bikes, I have hardly ever seen a S-10 around !!! At this rate, they are going to be a collectors item here in the UK !!

Got to go along with that theory. I cant say that I see a lot on the road.

But 150 views!!!

Will persevere though. My last bike was the perverbial TDM900. Loads of those buggers around :D :D :D

There's one here Mik ::022:: I'm not exactly close to you (Hants) but there must be some good places in between to meet up. I'm no organiser either but maybe just come up with a good meeting point, on the coast maybe? where we can all gather for a brew, chin wag, check out the bikes etc ?

Why not join a bike club? I joined my local club and regularly go for 200-300 mile rides. We all have different bikes and mine is the only adventure but who cares when you are out riding with like minded individuals instead of on your own.

I concur 21, but multi tasking was never my strong point!

Seriously though, just pick a date and a venue and see who turns up. You will most likely be surprised. They just go with the flow, if people want to stand and chat then that's fine. If folks want a bit of a run then no doubt someone will lead the way, you just have to get a few of us together and it'll all work out. Just make sure you book the weather...

Hi guys. I'm near Bedford, so the South Coast is a bit of a pain from here - too much traffic & Motorway - not enough fun in return. So we tend to strike north usually - Super Sausage/Jacks Hill near Towcester. The SS have a Classic Brit Bike day on 7 June & a Suzuki day 14 June for instance.

However, it occurs to me that you have Rykers (Box Hill) & Loomies (West Meon) in the vicinity, which would make ideal venues for a collection point, then get a ride-out together - simples.

If the weather is fine, I was thinking of the Eastbourne Air Show 13-16 August 2015. See: -

http://www.visiteastbourne.com/airbourne/flying-schedule.aspx

I think they only put it on to prove that Eastbourne isn't just for retirees. Last time I went, we pitched up at Beachy Head with a picnic. Whilst not directly on the flight line, we still had an excellent day.

Does anyone know if the bikers meet at Rye still operating?

Hi Ken,

That seems an idea. Will have to work out a day soon.

Box Hill seems a decent venue and its generaly well turned out.

Rye still gets busy on pretty much every Sunday. Its on one of my regular rides. Also the Cafe at Robertsbridge
on the A21
