I've just discovered another option - the Mitas E-07 dualsport tires aren't available in the US yet, but well liked by Aussie and Sth African S10 riders. BUT... they are available in Canada, and even with $45 shipping they are quite a bit cheaper than a pair of K60s.

You might find them a bit cheaper than that, but as far as I can tell there is little discounting going on with the Heidenau.
