Us Boys from Kentucky and Arkansas aren't used to the kind of common sense they have in Missouri
From Wikipedia.

Missouri state law specifically prohibits any counties, or unincorporated city or town from banning the retail sale of liquor, but only allows incorporated cities to ban the sale of liquor by the drink by public referendum. No incorporated Missouri cities have ever chosen to hold a referendum banning alcohol sales. In addition, Missouri state law specifically supersedes any local laws that restrict the sale of alcohol.

I live in Benton County Arkansas which is dry and everybody here drives to the Missouri Line to buy booze.

After much trial and error on the CDR trip a few weeks back, Knob Creek fits best in the saddle bags...a major concern when ensuring balance across bags holding both whiskey and cold beer....it's in chapter 10 in the ST owners manual

fred has put together a nice 300+ mile ride for saturday ::008::

for those coming in friday , fred and i will be at the hotel by noon and will lead a short ride around the area that we will not have time
to do saturday. a late lunch at the bixby store might be in order ::013:: ::015::

I have 2 buddies that are curious about the s10 and are going to come along on this ride , one has a triumph the other a drz400sm
If you have a friend that wants to come along feel free to bring them . No better place to test ride the s10 IMHO. ::008::

We are finally going to get some cooler weather! Friday is supposed to be a high of 80. I think I'll ride down to MO and do a dry run of my route that I have planned for the Bixby ride.

Anybody want to come along?
