I'm always amazed with these old videos in that Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, and the others didn't kill themselves. I've heard Keaton in an interview years later say that most of these had no script and they generally didn't use stunt men either, so they were really putting themselves at risk.

Puts the Digital World to shame.

For those of y'all looking for something "different", 'cuz the T-12 is just so boringly indestructible, there is the '22 23 Tiger 1200. Apparently, Triumph has called out BMW, literally, and claims the new Tiger is better than the GS. Stronger, faster, lighter, and handles better than last year's Tiger. I've always thought the Tiger looks good. . . . the new one looks even better. (to me anyway) The one thing they mentioned though that bugs me . . . . blind spot alerts. On a motorcycle?! I might have a blind spot of about 1'. And if I don't see somebody in it . . . . it might be time for me to hang up my spurs. But it does seem that Triumph has put some work into the new model. The following article describes their riding results. 2022 Triumph Tiger 1200 First Ride (msn.com)

Seems to echo the Cycle World review. Which, to me, means that the performance now matches the looks. Not that I'm looking to change, my "lowly" T-12 does everything that I need/want her to.

That's the problem with buying a reliable bike. They tend to stick around.

Looks like a fantastic bike, but the price is too rich for my blood.
But then I'm a cheapskate.

I thought this was a beautiful looking sedan, I thought I would share... 1930 Bentley 6.5 L Speed Six Gurney.. Only four left in the world, and this is the only one left with the original interior and exterior (not been completely refitted)

I believe I read that this monster car along with a monster engine had only 150 HP..... Think of the motorcycles that have more than that......How far we have moved forward. This car reminds me somewhat of the Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic.

I think its amazing looking !

Yamaha is working on power steering . . . . for motorcycles. The tech is pretty cool, serves as an assist at slow speed(s), and dampener at high speed(s). Here's the article: Yamaha explores power steering on two wheels (msn.com)

And the new MT-09: Yamaha Showcases MT-09 Cyber Rally At Osaka Motorcycle Show (msn.com)

Ive seen several things about this. They are going to try it in the Japan super cross series and evidently looking to put it on motocross bike as an electric damper / low speed steering assist. Is this necessary or soothing to "add" on ? I personally think this 'might be' useful on a high speed off road "steering damper" situation. Other than that, I would seriously have too try it to change my mind not needing or wanting it. Most of the modern day electronics are getting a little to much "hand holding / baby sitting" for my taste....... Im sure many will buy all the new stuff.... LOL

I could see the "power assist" to be useful with smaller riders on bigger bikes. Like the reverse gear on the 'Wing. But everybody wants "tech". I still have a flip phone.
