I met, and as part of a PR thing, flew around a guy that owns one of the other roadworthy jet bikes (believe there is three). He keeps it at Santa Monica airport (next to his private helicopter), and I was able to sit on it. It is painted like a F-86 fighter jet. He started it for us, and agree, what a great sound. Was kinda interesting, as it was the same engine (different version), of the one in the helicopter I had parked outside his hangar.Which reminds me of this. I love the start up sound.

Allison C20. I believe the one in Jay Leno's bike is from a surplus OH-58.So what engine do they have? A little Allison?
