The old saying "Horses for courses and courses for horses" springs to mind. Neither the rider's or the bike's fault. I must say the video speaks very loudly for The Aussie uplifted attitude to hardship when a fellow can still laugh in the face of hardship.

Saw segment on the BMW R-18 Transcontinental. Definitely retro styling. 900+ pounds, and $24k-$32k depending on option level.

Funny you should say that. Both bikes are drastic deviations. But, the R-18 makes the least sense. It's a retro/minimalist style bike with a high price tag. The PA is just H-D joining the crowd. Like everybody jumping on the SUV bandwagon. H-D is in survival mode.
