Would love to get out that way Rob. Great photos thanks. My Pa trod some of that ground at 23. Rode some aswell. R.A.F. sent most of the time on the ground though. Apparantly their were no Bars on the Planes, not required under a certain Rank.

when i stayed at the zum turken, the lady that owned it was really old, it was her family that the ss took the hotel from, you could pay to go down the spiral stair case into the under ground tunnels that lead to martin boremans house and hitlers berghof, it was unbelievable

Lot of History there over alot of time.
Got a ticket to do all the Castles in North Wales a few years back. Great way to ride some beautiful roads. Cant remember what one but there is a great Museum dedicated to a Welsh Regiment in one of them.
