84° today. "Cold front" today drops us to the 70°s. Another one next week drops us to the 60°s. Life is good. The front going through right now is the same one in the Dakotas dropping all that snow.

As long as the road is closed, and I don't have to pedal back up, that looks fun as hell.
One of the more bizarre things I experienced on a Tenere was leading a race of those guys. Near Killington ski resort, got to a stop sign and turned right. A bunch of racers, trikes in hand exiting a rental truck. Road is lined with hay bails and spectators. Clearly, the crowd was not there to watch 2 Super Teneres slowly ride the course.

And that's how it really is...in the avalanche ski survival courses, they always emphasize that when it's impossible to escape the avalanche, "take off your skis/board", and try to "swim" in the snow to stay afloat , and put your hands in front of your face to create an air chamber (all this descending together with the avalanche at 130 mph without hitting anything and without knowing where it is up or down)….and here, He was rescued thanks to the fact that his board was visible and he was hooked on it (or maybe at some sign of rescue)….but in that state he must have had no air, only for a couple of minutes

checkswrecks…..or any other….I would like you to see the video of the avalanche…between minute 1.01 and 1.25……where did those other skis come from??….if the one buried in the snow had a snowboard…..or Was there another person buried right there or nearby…or was it a fake vid?
