I saw that too. My question(s) is whether that is an accurate cost for the electricity? Because it takes 50/100kw hrs to charge a Tesla. Our price, right now, is $0.12 per Kwh. . . . which would only be $12.00

That EV meme has been passed around by every person in my circle who doesn't like electric cars. Incorrect information, but it doesn't stop them from passing it on as the real deal and the reason they aren't going to give up their ICE. Plenty of other reasons not to get an EV without resorting to false information.

And here's a picture for the thread. I won't be buying a new Raptor anytime soon.

I do know that in Texas, we've been told to raise our thermostats to conserve electricity because we're getting close to the grid's limit. What is going to happen when there's a shit ton of EVs thrown into the mix? I've heard that California put out a similar request/notice specifically mentioning EVs.

Those trail 90s are a blast! The boys from Revzilla took a couple of them up the Dalton. The video is on YouTube. Worth watching of you're bored.

Yeah, that was pretty cool because they took one of the new ones and an old one that they just randomly purchased online somewhere.

I have had four of these over the years, this one has a Honda 125 three wheeler engine in it. Electric start (pull start backup!), 12V system rather than the old 6V, CDI instead of points and it has the dual range transmission. Pretty good, but I'm now looking at a Grom engine to put in if I can figure it out.

A PLANE IS ON ITS WAY TO TORONTO , WHEN A BLONDE IN ECONOMY CLASS GETS UP AND MOVES TO THE FIRST CLASS SECTION AND SITS DOWN.
THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT WATCHES HER DO THIS AND ASKS TO SEE HER TICKET.
SHE THEN TELLS THE BLONDE THAT SHE PAID FOR ECONOMY CLASS AND THAT SHE WILL HAVE TO SIT IN THE BACK.
THE BLONDE REPLIES, "I'M BLONDE, I'M BEAUTIFUL, I'M GOING TO TORONTO AND I'M STAYING RIGHT HERE."
THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT GOES INTO THE COCKPIT AND TELLS THE PILOT AND THE CO-PILOT THAT THERE IS A BLONDE BIMBO SITTING IN FIRST CLASS, THAT BELONGS IN ECONOMY AND WON'T MOVE BACK TO HER SEAT.
THE CO-PILOT GOES BACK TO THE BLONDE AND TRIES TO EXPLAIN THAT BECAUSE SHE ONLY PAID FOR ECONOMY SHE WILL HAVE TO LEAVE AND RETURN TO HER SEAT.
THE BLONDE REPLIES, "I'M BLONDE, I'M BEAUTIFUL, I'M GOING TO TORONTO AND I'M STAYING RIGHT HERE."
THE CO-PILOT TELLS THE PILOT THAT HE PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE THE POLICE WAITING WHEN THEY LAND TO ARREST THIS BLONDE WOMAN WHO WON'T LISTEN TO REASON.
THE PILOT SAYS, "YOU SAY SHE IS A BLONDE? I'LL
HANDLE THIS, I'M MARRIED TO A BLONDE. I SPEAK BLONDE."
HE GOES BACK TO THE BLONDE AND WHISPERS IN HER EAR, AND SHE SAYS, "OH, I'M SORRY." AND GETS UP AND GOES BACK TO HER SEAT IN ECONOMY.
THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT AND CO-PILOT ARE AMAZED AND ASKED HIM WHAT HE SAID TO MAKE HER MOVE WITHOUT ANY FUSS.
"I TOLD HER, 'FIRST CLASS ISN'T GOING TO TORONTO."

While many complain about life in general and the cost of living etc, I am sitting on a sofa that costs £3,500, lovely and cool in front of an air-con unit costing £2,300, watching the latest film on a 70" smart TV that costs £4,000.
Right now, I'm happy, with no worries and not a care in the world, not even the employees at John Lewis, who keep asking me to leave the store, can spoil my day ...

WOW.
1 Rifles veteran Chris Ganley lost his arm in a motorcycle accident whilst home from duty. Within 6 months he was back on an adapted bike. Now he is racing regularly with only one arm!
"I had a crash at 30mph. I hit a lamppost, which took my left arm straight off. My right arm was close to being amputated, too. I also broke some of my ribs and my back in three places. I damaged a lung and had a severe brain bleed, which means I am classed as having brain damage.
Losing my arm was a shock, but I had to get on with life, so I sat and worked out ways to do it. Six months after my injury, I rode again.
Without the Association, I’d only have had enough money to take part in a couple of races this season. After I did well in my first few, Blesma got behind me, and paid for all of last season as well as this season. If I keep achieving, I hope they’ll back me all the way to the TT! I owe Blesma a lot. The biking community has been very supportive and impressed with my times. I’m much more confident this year, but know that there’s still plenty of room for improvement, so I’m really excited about the future."
