Well, the reason that I couldn't make the Ouray gathering, or at least couldn't stay past one night, was that I was playing pit crew for Wes Orloff at Pikes peak. The video is finally done:

This is a pretty cool documentary on SBK Factory's effort:
SBK Factory "The Race"- Episode 4 Taking Performance to New Heights

It was a great experience, again. If you haven't ever made it to this, you should. Nothing can prepare you for the mornings (well, you get more of them as a pit crew or racer than a spectator). This next year I will be racing mini supermoto, so I won't likely be taking this time off to play at the mountain.

Very good video. Liked how it was more about the people and not the race. The riding video coverage was excellent.

I get vertigo and had to take a break near the end. Have wanted to drive the mountain for years and ride it for the last six years.

Thanks for sharing the video. Makes me want to buy a FZ1 or FZ-09.

Thanks for posting. I got so caught up watching it was nearly late for work. It gave me sweaty palms on race day. Cheers to the racers & Thanks again ::016::

Well worth the watch!

Part way through I was thinking "Enough with the 'how hard this is' stuff. Yeah, you're up early, yeah, you're up late"...blah, blah, blah...

Then one of the guys says the smartest thing I've heard in a long time. When confronted with slick surfaces, he says, "We've got nothing to prove. I'd rather see you (to his team mate) run at 70% and cruise up the hill, than get hurt."

Naturally, that sets the stage...LOL

Great movie! Thanks for posting.
