I put mine away for the winter with 600 miles on it. I don't even know what we are talking about :)

Over a 1/4 million miles of Tenere photo'd here.

>125,000 miles on JMZ's 2012 (EricV's first bike)

>126,000 miles on my 2013 (new leftover purchased in 2015)

Perfect warm sunny day for a ride around the Texas Hill country.

Congrats SB. It's a fun milestone. Now you can stop worrying about scratches! :D

The Canadian bikes are the only ones not switchable between miles and Kms. Apparently Yamaha Canada is full of morons that never go anywhere?

P.S. Great pic of a couple of well traveled bikes!

I had to cheat a bit to get there. When my 12 went to its new home last March with 135,000 km my new to me 13 took over and some where just south of Albuquerque NM over the labour day weekend it made up the rest to reach 160,000 trouble free kms.

Many thanks, Fennellg! That's the area I just came back from. We went out to western NC, visited the waterfalls at Dupont and Pisgah, rode through Cade's Cove, went up to Clingman's Dome (just in time to watch the clouds roll in and obscure the view), took the Foothills Parkway out to the Tail of the Dragon, then to the Cherohala Skyway. We rode up through Tennessee and Virginia into West Virginia, and did quite a bit of riding through West VA.

This was our route:

I thought about taking a detour to rack up those final 300 miles, but man, we were ready to be done after that 2000 plus miles in that heat.

105k miles here. just took it from colorado to maine and back. This thing is an anvil. pulled the swingarm apart last year to grease and inspect- all good to go- just added some grease. fork bushings all have their coatings on them still. it's had a few sets of wheel bearings, upgraded CCT (it's a 2012), upgraded clutch basket before i got it. just installed a TFX 140 rear shock. It was on its second OEM shock.

valves were checked around 60k. I'll get to it again this winter maybe.. starts hot like a champ so i'm not worried really.

probably gonna need a rear brake rotor at some point... but pretty much tires, oils, gas. oh yeah, tiny bit of weap on the FD seal. I'll take care of that soon.
