Howdy,
Don't feel bad, just got busted for a $200 speeding ticket. Could have been much worse, they (notice "they") clocked me at 95 with an erratic and dangerous lane change. When they pulled me over and asked me why, I replied I was just trying to keep from being run over. Prior to the stop I had been on an on ramp with a stop sign waiting for a hole to open up in the traffic flow. Traffic was very heavy and the guy behind me in the cage kept crawling up my ass. So when the very tiny little bit of space opened up I went for it. Once in the travel lane the guy behind me was not happy that I had violated his space, so he started to crawl up my ass. A quick look to my left, saw the small hole in the passing lane and went WOT. Next thing I see in the mirrors are blue lights!!! Wrote me up for 75, the 95 could have been, arrest and god only knows what fine. So all in all a "lucky" day. I hope the "Veteran" on my license and my campaign medal decal on the left bag helped.
