Hi everybody. New to the forum and look forward to reading all the good posts to come from the adventures on our new Tenere's. Orderd mine in November 2010, Raven Black, hope to see delivery in May or June. I ride with a great group of guys and gals here that we call the OFMC of Tennessee. My Tenere' will be the first non cruiser bike in the group. We welcome any and all makes and models of bikes on our rides. We dont care what you ride, we just care that you ride. I will be saying farewell to my 2005 VTX 1300 to make room for the new Yammy! Can't wait to get started with all the farkles and addons to make the new bike my own. It's been a long winter so far... but will be well worth the wait I am sure. ;)

Thanks Paul, i have already signed up over at ADVRider and have learned alot about the Tenere'. I have been lurking around for a while, trying to ease the wait for spring by reading everything I can about the new bike. I have found this forum and ADV forum very helpful and informative while waiting for winter to end here in Tennessee. I intend to post many ride pics this spring and summer after the Tenere' arrives. ;D

Welcome TNWalker, I miss riding in Tenn and NC around the Smokies and the Blue Ridge Parkway. I am originally from Ohio, but now living in Seattle. THis bike will be well worth the wait. I come from riding alot of Honda's, but no more!!! Come on may!!!

Welcome to the group TNWalker. Maybe your move from cruiser to Adv bike will spurs others in your group to see the light as well. You may be onto something that will be spreading like wildfire.

Hey TNWalker, welcome! I know how you feel about being the odd man out in the cruiser club. All my friends are still tooling around with their feet up and their legs flapping in the breeze. I was hoping I'd turn a few after I went to a pseudo adventure bike, but they're holding fast for now. I'm wishing you better luck!

Big Welcome from Texas TNWalker!

We are all chomping at the bit for our new bikes and any new information we can get on them.

This forum is full of good information about the XT12 and will help you pick out stuff you want for it.

I know it has cost me $$$ reading it. :))

Thanks to all of you for the warm greetings. I am happy to be a part of this community and look forward to many good reads about our upcoming adventures. I am lucky to have many good roads and trails nearby that you can ride all day and never be more than an hour or 3 from the house. I have passed by many good trails and tracks on my vtx that I cant wait to go explore on the S10. The VTX has been a wonderful ride for many miles and has really been more of an Adventure Cruiser as i mainly take it on the roads less traveled. I will miss it but the S10 will make its departure much easier to get over :) To jly51, I am in Murfreesboro , right in the geographical center of Tennessee. We ride just about every weekend and i would welcome a trip to meet up for a ride sometime after our S10's arrive. Cheers everyone :)
