Guys,

I need to know if there is interest in more Super Tenere Handlebar Risers. We're ready to get serious and focused on the accessories part of my business.

Those that have them have had good things to say. New Risers will have a Textured, Satin Finish - No more polished risers.

I need feedback!

Thanks, Gordon/RTS

I love mine. Did a 650 mile interstate ride one day and did the Tail of The Dragon the day before.

Have done about 3000 miles with them and just love the comfort and ability to stand while riding

These get rid on my long term shoulder pain on long rides.

6'3" 32 inseam 290 lbs frame with stock seat and these great risers.

GREAT PRODUCT HIGH QUALITY

Highly recommend them

putting risers on my bike is probably going to be the next mod I make. I'd like to see more pics of your product. Also more details- rise, price, etc.

Guys, Yes - new hoses are required. The minimum extension is 1.5" and max is 3". Notice that I did not use the word "rise" - you can adjust these forward, back, and many number of positions to find that sweet spot. They go up/down in/out with one 17mm wrench.

Price will be in the $150 range - the more we can make, the cheaper they get. I'm looking for a list, not an order to see how many are interested.

I've got some interest for several for the guys in Australia, but I haven't firmed their offers yet.

Thanks, Gordon/RTS

I've done about 5k miles on these and they rock. I am using stock length cables/hoses with out the extension mod. Would not recommend as you do get slight binding and full lock. If I went off road I would be super concerned about it.

I am hoping to get extensions soon.

In summary don't wast your money on other products just go for the best and most universal.

I have a set of RRR Risers on a 2015 ES.
They make a world of difference.
Real easy to adjust quickly, no fumbling with trying to get under and undo the caps like with Rox Risers.
With RRR Risers just undo the main nuts, release the bolts, adjust handle bar position forward/back/up/down...tighten tighten bolts, do nuts back up.

For those of you in Australia - You can buy your Goodridge Stainless Steel Brake lines from:
John Stamnas

They have the line specs for the Super Tenere Brake and Clutch lines - normal extention is +8cm, I went +9cm.

Gordon,

Though I have already PM'd you a couple of times of my intent to purchase, I will reaffirm here once again. I'm definitely in for a set for my '14 and I would gladly send you a deposit if needed.

A satin finish on these would definitely be more aesthetically pleasing since the stock risers and triple clamps are satin....IMHO.

I'd be in the interested but not yet committed to purchase category. I've been off the bike more this year than I care for, and getting back on it for a 400 mile ride recently showed me it could use some improvement in comfort.

Had I not gotten one of those German (forget the brand) risers, I'd totally be in. The ones I have do not allow movement forward and back which means they are not as nice as yours but I also didn't have to mess with lengthening cables/lines.

I am interested, but TBH there is another US brand that is offering 'up and back' for the similar money but come with the line extensions. Also, just as a observation, the price point is on the, 'nice to have' and not on the 'must get one' list.
And just a minor point, but are the nuts and bolts metric or UNC?

It would be nice if you could include the longer lines for an additional cost. Makes it easier to pull the trigger if I don't have to source the lines separately from another vendor and then pay for them to be shipped. One stop shopping rules. ::024::

These came on my bike from the previous owner. They are awesome! So many adjustment choices! I would've bought these if they didn't come with the bike!

Hi Guys, I'm going to post here to bring this back to the top. Right now, I'm below the minimum needed to make a run.

Here are the "soft reservations". I don't take money until they are ready to ship. I need 5 of each to utilize the materials and set-ups.
Best Regards, Gordon/RTS

For anyone thinking of risers, I can recommend Gordon's solution. I rode all summer with a set on my gen1 bike and finally installed a set on my gen2 today.

Brake lines from Tabasco or other sources are readily available. The biggest problem installing them is how tight the fittings on the factory lines are.

The adjustability and bulletproof construction of Gordon's risers make any brake line hassles worth the effort if you need something different than Yamaha's stock ergonomics.
