Anyone happen to know of any dealer that sells the tank pads for the Super T? Revzilla had them a month ago, should had purchased them then.. Found a few other places that sold them, but their shipping ETA were in the month to month and a half for delivery. :'( Did not realize they would be so difficult to find

THANKS!!

I swear the last time I checked their site it said there was none in stock and I've searched ebay quite a few times without luck. Just ordered it off eBay should be here Wednesday of next week! Can't wait to get them on, hopefully my butt will stop sliding :D

Thanks again!

So I received my Tech-Spec pads this morning... Does anyone else have the issue with the tank graphic not being completely covered by the pad? I tried a few angles and you can't cover the black stripe, the pad just needs to be maybe 1.5 inches taller. Its not a really big deal, but its bugging the living hell out of me lol

That image you've got up looks like you've got the left and right side reversed maybe. Need a pic from the side to compare to their web pic. Part # 62-4012, in stock.

I have the same problem as Kabish, the graphic partially showing. Was wondering how others deal with this. I just decided it is "function over form" and live with it, altho it IS obnoxious!

That is the older style. The new ones are shaped specifically to cover the graphic. Click on Blind Squirrel's link, takes you right to the newest style.

I ordered the same pad that Blind Squirrel linked, the 62-4012. Its also the same link that the TechSpec customer care person sent me too. When I gave them my order number so they could look up what I ordered they said it was the right one.... So I'm not sure if there are two versions of the 62-4012 or what.

Regardless, TechSpec customer service was absolutely amazing to work with. They shipped out another set to me yesterday, so I should have it Saturday if I'm lucky. Otherwise I won't get it till Tues or Wednesday.

So I received the new pads today and it is in fact the 62-4012-SS that Blind Squirrel linked. Apparently when they sent me the first pads they had sent the wrong ones in error.

The pads still don't fully cover the graphic no matter how hard I try. It is a great improvement over the other pads, but still not the perfection that a $80 relativity simple product requires. And I'm not fully understanding why they don't cover more of the knee socket. The pad basically just covers the graphic, depending on how tall you are your knees might not even touch it.

Agree with the pad not covering all of the graphic. The best thing we could do is contact them about our concern. I have the same problem and they used my Tenere as the template.

Thinking about riding to Minden to show them the fit concern. Also I will enjoy the Sierra ride to and from plus a sandwich and soda at the Genoa Country Store. Plus the up and down ride on Kingsbury Grade.

For an $80 product it seems to be a REALLY stupid problem to have. Its not like they are limited in the space of the knee cut out in the tank, there is still a TON of space that is not covered. Why not just go over 1/2 an inch to make sure it gives the fit the customers want... I dunno.... Their customer service was really good, their product seems to give pretty good grip, it just does not cover the graphic like they say it will.

They put it under the clear coat for some silly reason.
