Tech day and lie session - Dec. 14

OK. I've pretty much healed from my foot injury.....finally.....so it is time to do some stuff on the bike.

The forks just came back from being freshened and dialing out a bit more hi speed compression damping so I need to reinstall them.

The ECU will be back from Ed at AF1 from its reflash.

I've got new front and rear brake pads to install.

I need to finalize the install of the tool box on the right side of the bike.

We should all get together and lie.

I will provide lunch, soda, water, and coffee.

Sounds like a good excuse to come on over and work on your bike. Sounds like a good excuse to come over and hang, discuss the last year's riding. Sounds like a reason to discuss next year and riding plans.

8000 miles on my bike. Should I be thinking about syncing my throttle bodies as well? and if I came would you be able to assist me in doing so? I'm fairly mechanically inclined, just not familiar with how to do that stuff. I'd be great to meet some other S10 riders as well and learn from you more experienced guys.

Not sure if you are interested installing a zerk fitting in your shifter bushing but this would be a good time to do it. Winter brings dirty roads.

Any time from 9 am on. Most usually show up within an hour or so of the start time and then we just go at it, lie, laugh, mock......break for lunch.....repeat.

FML!!! UPS got my ECU all the way from Folsom, CA to Mesquite, TX and then sent it to Illinois!! WTF!?!?!?! ::010:: ::010:: ::010::

I'll be one irate customer calling in the morning now!!

Strangest thing happened today. UPS delivered a ECU to my house. Don't know for sure what I'll do with it, keep it for a spare, I guess.

Well, it's not lost. The Texas depot was inundated and shut down due to weather. Grrrrrr.
Hopefully it will get to AF1 soon.....and more importantly, back to me.
