Looking for a tank bag. Just a a shallow bag to carry wallet, cell phone, insurance and other paper work with a zip up clear map top. Not looking for something 2 ft tall and the size of a back pack just the little stuff we're always reaching for. Water proof and inexpensive. Any ideas? Thanks' Brad

I just bought a Giant Loop Diablo. Weather resistant and the perfect size. Check into it. Also look at Endurostan Sandstorm 3S

IMO, the Wolfman Blackhawk is a great "day" small tank bag. Its unobtrusive, solid 4 point mounting system so it doesn't shift or move around like the OEM tank bag. The mounting doesn't require taking anything apart.

The nice thing about their tank bag and mounting system, if you decide to go up a tank bag, the mounting straps only need slight adjustment…

I think revzilla has them for 129.99 and the rain cover is like another 20...

giant loop fandango bag, not to big not to small... keeps the water out, but after three years the clear plastic of the map pockect turned colors and then cracked out, no more water proof.... they say they have a life time warranty, told me to send it to them..(told me they would repair or replace, so i boxed it up and shipped it out). thought cool, that was in december 2014, waited and waited, finnally called them in february, said they recieved it and to date not a word back from them... (when i talked to them they said the sewing lady was ill or hurt or something, thought that it would cost more than its worth to repair it,but offered no solutions....)it is a great bag, alot to like, i will not buy another, 3year life span for the price is not worth it... and they really dont honor their warranty claims , cost me 25 dollars to ship it to them, could have just tossed in the trash and spent that money some where else.... found a bag at a dealer ,it was collecting dust ,got it at acheap price and am looking for a great bag still. but it want be a giant loop anything....how hard can it be to make a bag that is water proof and will last .....some one build it and we will buy it...

I purchased a magnetic tank bag from Oxford. The same company which does the excellent heated grips.

It is $60. And I did several rides with it, and it was just perfect for my usage, never moved or be a nuisance in any way. The quality is very good. Never been under the rain though. Very good fit for the Super Ténéré.

S W Motech City quick release tank bag. No scratches, sliding. Clips in without touching your tank and quick release for filling up. Carry handle for when you off the bike and want to take it for a walk.

I have the magnetic version of this little guy. I had the oem one but not enough pockets for me. I look for nooks and crannies in a tank bag for little crap and the OEM one is just a bag cavernous hole. Fine if you're using small stuff sacks etc or putting a DSLR camera bag in it, but piss poor for me commuting. I stick it to the gas pump with the magnets while filling up to keep it from falling and will probably get a larger one for longer trips. Also picked up Aerostich Tank Panniers for mounting over the back of the seat and tied to the passenger pegs for additional storage, I have Storm Industries Altrider crash bar bags, and their Altrider rack cubby bag for most of what I may need to carry.
