Just blew the zipper on my Touratech Tail Pack. Crap. Have an upcoming trip in a couple of days. Do any accessory suppliers make a model specific tail pack for the S10? I am using the one specific to the GS12 which fits pretty good but not perfect. It was great while it lasted. Not to big or bulky with an extension when needed. Can't stand those ugly Top Boxes you see everywhere in Europe. Don't like Tank Bags much either. Any suggestions! ::001::

Hi Red Cat,

I have an Ogio tail bag and if you don't mind it on the rear seat it fits very well.
The straps attach perfectly to the bike and it is very easy to take on and off (straps stay attached to the bike).
The bag is just the right size to fit between the grab handles.

I like the look of the Kriega's but have no experience with them.

Good luck.

Aerostich MotoFizz bag is the wickedest motorcycle tail-bag I have ever had.

Might be more (bigger) bag than you want though.
I'm no fan of top-boxes either. Can't really figure out why. Especially if they match the panniers. Seems like I shouldn't object. But I just don't get a warm and fuzzy for them.

I was looking at saddleman tunnel bag 1620. Great bag, but you will have to giveup grab handles and for me it was a "no way".

Those Wolfman tail packs are nicer than what I bought but no one here in town stocks Wolfman as far as I know. I ended up with a Gears/Genesis from GW. It was almost what I was looking for and will do nicely for now. Its long and low rather than short and high. Came with a rain cover but no extension option which is OK cause there is enough room for all of my Day Ride stuff. Use a large water proof duffel straped to the passenger seat for week long trips. Find I can ride unencumbered without the hard bags especially on dirt roads. ::26::

I'm using the Dowco Fastrax Sport/ADV tail bag (135.00 US) They come with their own straps but I'm using short Bungee cords that makes it easy to take the bag off and on (about one min ). The bag seems well made although I only had it for two weeks/300 miles or so.
