I have a Gen 1 KLR tail bag that I have used on two KLR's and two Super Teneres and it is still holding up well. Not waterprof, but I store the contents in plastic bags when on a trip and have had no problems. I don't run a back seat and have the rear rack lowered, so this fits perfectly. Has side pockets for my tool kit and a few odds and ends. These are still available on ebay. The Gen 2 KLR bags are available also, but don't fit the provided space as well as the original size.

Edit, this is expandable to about twice the height.

I have a Saddleman adventure pack. Covers both the passenger seat and rear rack, it is expandable. So it can be large enough to fit a full face helmet and my jacket.

I have a tourmaster cortech bag that was very reasonable, and is perfect for holding lunch and a change of clothes (when expanded). I think I got it from RockyMountainATV on sale. Somewhere around $40 or $50.

Best,

Chris

I've got a small and a large Motofizz from Aerostich. The small is perfect for lunch duty and going back and forth to work. Easily holds two growlers and more. The large I use for road trips.

Motofizz bags are the bomb! So well made and very versatile. Problem is, I want every size.
I do have the Jumbo. It needs the larger platform of the Altrider plate to get a good fit.

I've got the small and medium MotoFizz bags. Used with an AltRider rear rack and they both work most excellent!

I'm late on this post but love my Chase B-Alaska Bag. It's big, tough and cheap. It fits fine on the pillion seat when I have my top case on or without the top case, turn the bag the long way and it covers the pillion seat and rack.

Check Chase Harper. They have several that fit the rack. Mine isn't the Alaska but a little more square. When I don't need the TT topcase I use the CH.

I have followed a Chase Harper Alaska for many miles and the rider swears by it.

I have TT's 38L water proof bag that I use inline (I don't ride 2up). There are better bags. Any bag up to 24" long and up to 14" wide is good for inline use. Works good with OEM side cases. Plus you can always add bags on top of the side cases.

The Altrider rear rack is approx 13" x 13".

Multiple combinations for carrying a bag or two.
